MOREL MANIA ARRIVES AT CARAVELLE HOTEL

Business is mushrooming in Reflections Restaurant this February.

The elusive morel mushroom is the star of a gourmet promotion at the Caravelle Hotel from Feb. 3 – 12, 2012. Get a taste of the morel's delicate, nutty flavor from an a la carte menu; or choose from two set menus featuring the highly prized seasonal mushroom in a series of favorite dishes.

The Morel Menu, set at VND 875,000++ per person, includes cream of wild mushroom soup with morels and white truffle oil, a main course of roast fillet of salmon with morel mushroom sauce, chive crushed potatoes, morel mushroom tempura with dill tarragon flower salad, and a seven textures chocolate cake for dessert. The Caravelle's chefs are also preparing a four-course Morel Degustation Menu, set at VND 1,200,000++ per person.

Both menus come with fresh Lavazza coffee, a selection of Ronnefeldt teas, and assorted sweets.

Valentine's Day surprises get an early start with a love-themed High Tea followed by two intimate dinner affairs in the hotel's fine-dining restaurants.

Valentine's High Tea @ Lobby Lounge (from noon to 5 pm): an array of savory finger food and sweet treats including Mini lover hearts filled with raspberry mousse, homemade pink marshmallows and orange blossom crème brulee.

Valentine's 8-course Set Dinner @ Reflections Restaurant: with candle, live piano music. Complimentary flute of special IL Vino Dei Poeti Prosecco Brut Rose from Italy and with a choice of hand-rolled chocolate truffles.
