Chính sách từ thiện của Hiệp hội các doanh nghiệp Anh Quốc tai Việt Nam

Since its establishment in 1998, the BBGV has been active in organising charitable events with the aim of raising money to support charitable projects for the direct benefit of the Vietnamese people.

Từ khi được thành lập vào năm 1998 đến nay, BBGV đã rất năng động trong việc tổ chức các chương trình từ thiện với mục đích gây quỹ hỗ trợ những dự án từ thiện đem lại lợi ích trực tiếp cho người dân Việt Nam.

The BBGV contributes to projects which cover a broad spectrum of charitable fields. We give priority to projects which meet with the needs of disadvantaged children and the elderly. We are particularly interested in supporting the following:

BBGV đóng góp cho nhiều dự án được phân bố rộng rãi ở các lĩnh vực từ thiện. Chúng tôi ưu tiên cho những dự án như giúp đỡ trẻ em khuyết tật và người già neo đơn có hoàn cảnh khó khăn. Cụ thể, chúng tôi quan tâm hỗ trợ những lĩnh vực sau:

• Health care/Chăm sóc sức khoẻ
• Education/Giáo dục
• Vocational/Training/Dạy nghề, đào tạo
• People with disabilities/Hỗ trợ người tàn tật
• Wildlife/Động vật hoang dã.

The BBGV will not contribute towards the following:

BBGV không hỗ trợ cho các khoản chi phí sau:

• Local or international travel costs/Chi phí đi lại trong và ngoài nước
• Staff salaries/Lương nhân viên
• A project that would collapse without continued support from the BBGV/Dự án sẽ không thực hiện được nếu không đuợc tiếp tục nhận hỗ trợ từ BBGV.
• Non project related administrative costs/Những chí phí quản lý không liên quan đến dự án
• Overseas scholarships/Học bổng du học

Selection Criteria
Tiêu chuẩn lựa chọn

1. Within the spectrum of charitable activities described above we look for organisations that have a demonstrated ability to use our money effectively and well. We need to be confident that the charity has the capacity to produce positive results.
Chúng tôi đang tìm kiếm các tổ chức thể hiện khả năng sử dụng quỹ của chúng tôi một các hiệu quả, đem lại kết quả tốt cho dự án thuộc lĩnh vực mà chúng tôi đã nêu ở trên. Chúng tôi cần phải tin chắc rằng tổ chức từ thiện đó có thể làm nên những kết quả tích cực.

2. The charity identifies a clear need or problem that BBGV funding will be able to help alleviate or solve and makes clear who will benefit.
Các tổ chức từ thiện phải nêu rõ nhu cầu hoặc các khó khăn mà quỹ tài trợ của BBGV sẽ giúp làm giảm nhẹ hay giải quyết các nhu cầu hoặc khó khăn đó, đồng thời nêu rõ đối tượng được thụ hưởng.

3. We expect the beneficiary organisation to find additional funding from its own resources or from other organisations, ie other than for a very small project the BBGV does not fund the project in full.
Chúng tôi mong rằng tổ chức thụ hưởng sẽ tự tìm các nguồn quỹ bổ sung từ chính họ hoặc từ các tổ chức khác.

4. Being small and underfunded are not criteria for selection. Equally, nor would we exclude a charity just because it is large and successful.
Các dự án nhỏ và chưa được tài trợ sẽ không phải là tiêu chuẩn để chúng tôi lựa chọn. Để đảm bảo sự công bằng, chúng tôi cũng không loại trừ dự án nếu chỉ vì chúng lớn và thành công.

5. We do, however, look particularly favourably on small organisations that have shown an ability to deliver good results but which are held back by a shortage of funds.
Tuy nhiên chúng tôi chú ý đặc biệt đến các tổ chức nhỏ mà chứng minh được là có khả năng mang lại kết quả tốt đẹp nhưng thiếu kinh phí.

Geographical Coverage
Về mặt địa lý

As a nationwide organisation the BBGV supports charities throughout Vietnam. We do, however, need to retain oversight of our funds and their use. Therefore although we are willing to support projects in remote areas we do need to resolve the practical issues of monitoring involved in such locations.

Là một tổ chức toàn quốc, BBGV hỗ trợ những dự án từ thiện xuyên suốt Việt Nam. Tuy nhiên, chúng tôi cần ghi lại báo cáo những quỹ tiền của chúng tôi và cách họ sử dụng. Do đó, mặc dù chúng tôi sẵn sàng hỗ trợ những dự án ở vùng nông thôn nhưng chúng tôi cần quyết định kiểm tra những vấn đề thực tế có liên quan đến những vùng này.
