Next Monday 16th January at the Hilton Hanoi Opera from 12 noon to 2pm we are organising a lunch with guest speaker Lady Barbara Judge who is the Chairman of the Emeritus UK Atomic Energy Authority, also Chairman of The Energy Institute of UCL & Business Ambassador for the UK.

Lady Barbara will be discussing the UK's world class nuclear supply chain that can bring benefits across the whole life cycle, including:

• New build;

• Existing operations; &

• Waste management, decommissioning, and disposal.

Lady Barbara will explore potential opportunities for future collaboration between the two countries that would help Vietnam meet its existing and future energy demands as well as the wider economic benefits of trade and investment partnership.

Mr Le Dinh Tien - Vice Minister, Ministry of Science & Technology, Chairman of ASEAN Committee on Science and Technology Vietnam. President of National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED). General Director of Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (VARANS) will respond to Lady Barbara on nuclear development in Vietnam and potential nuclear cooperation between the UK and Vietnam.

Charge for members & co-hosts is 750,000 VND and non members 950,000 VND.
