NEW SOUS CHEF STARTS AT CARAVELLE HOTEL

New Sous Chef Darren Watson from Scotland will be joining Executive Chef Timo Reuss at the forefront of the hotel’s culinary efforts.
Prior to his start at the Caravelle and since July 2006, Sous Chef Darren Watson has been running day-to-day operations at five food and beverage outlets at The Langham in Auckland, New Zealand. His tenure at The Langham includes a four-month stint as an Executive Chef and as a manager of banquets drawing as many as 1250 pax.
The hotel’s restaurants include Reflections, Nineteen and the Saigon Saigon Bar, an indoor-outdoor venue that commands the top floor of the historic old wing of the hotel.
