On Saturday March the 13th 2010 will see the start of what we hope will be the most memorable Saigon Cyclo Challenge ever. We need your help and effort to make it so!
This will be the 10th consecutive year for our Cyclo Challenge event and over the years we have been able to raise several hundred thousand dollars for the numerous projects and initiatives that are at the heart of Saigon Children's Charity's work.
If you are new to Cyclo Challenge, it is a fun, team building race where we expect 60 teams from various industries to compete for the most coveted trophy in Viet Nam! It is a day designed for both adults and children to enjoy with numerous other activities scheduled.
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Cyclo Challenge, the SCC organising team has added new features to the event to make it even more fun and family-friendly, including a classic car display showcasing favourites like Mercedes-Benz Pagoda Sports, Citroen DS, and a Fiat 500 amongst other timeless models. This year’s event will also include an All-Star Celebrity Race with some of Vietnam’s most popular performers scheduled to appear.
For the first time ever Saigon Children’s Charity will offer a special student discount on Cyclo Challenge tickets for students 16 and under! Simply show your valid student identification card when purchasing your tickets and you will qualify for our “Child” rate of 150,000vnd.*
Tickets cost 250,000 for Adults, 150,000 for children aged between 5 and 12, free for under 5's.
“Entering a racing team is easy – simply contact Scott Gelsthorpe, the Race Manager, at cyclochallenge@gmail.com to submit your team. There is no fee to enter, team members simply need to attend one practice night and buy an entry ticket for the event.”
